Danburite: Blending Heart and Soul

When I first saw danburite at a New Age trade show in Denver, I was immediately attracted to it. Despite its quartz-like clarity and sparkles, I experienced its energy as very soft, calming, and angelic. I wasn't surprised when a particular crystal chose me.

My initial impression has been confirmed by my work with it and by what others have written about it. This crystal activates the third eye and crown chakras, and can also blend the energies of the heart chakra with those of the third eye and crown by helping to release emotional pain through the light of understanding.

We have all experienced situations that seemed to be the worst things that could have happened to us. We may have wondered how we could go on. We may also have felt that all the spiritual concepts we'd learned about everything happening for a reason were not only invalid but cruel.

Often when I've looked back at events I considered devastating as they unfolded, I've seen how perfectly they helped to make me who I am today. I feel that danburite helps me to have that deeper and broader awareness while events are unfolding. I am able to witness what happens in my life from the soul perspective and have a feeling of calmness and serenity even when life seems very difficult.

Thus this stone helps to release us from the narrow focus created by ego needs and allows us to view our lives from the perspective of spirit - a viewpoint which allows us to use everything which happens in our lives as an opportunity to grow. The more we are able to accept what happens, the more the energy of what we consider negative diminishes. This makes energy and intention available to create the lives we would love to have.
