A heart is one of the most special symbolic shapes, for it reminds us of the power of love. To give someone a heart as a gift is a way of saying that your own heart is open to them.

For each of the crystal hearts below we give you a brief description of the stone (see Gems and Their Gifts to Us for more detailed descriptions. We also give a sample affirmation, using the theme of gratitude, (an important aspect of love) to use for programming it. Please note, these are suggestions only. Create an affirmation which feels right to you. Remember also that when you repeat an affirmation - silently or aloud - you don't need to be troubled by the recognition that they don't describe your present reality. What they do describe is the reality you are creating for yourself, a reality which already exists in the dimension of imagination and dreams. What you're doing is making the bridge between present and possible realities.
